Niels Gormsen was named a Neubauer Family Assistant Professor in 2018. He is a finance researcher in the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Gormsen's research interests include financial economics and empirical asset pricing. His research was awarded the AQR Top Finance Graduate award in 2018. Prior to joining the University of Chicago, Gormsen taught corporate finance at Copenhagen Business School. He holds a PhD in financial economics, an MSc in advanced economics and finance, and a BSc in international business from Copenhagen Business School. During his graduate studies, Gormsen spent time as a visiting scholar at Harvard University and Columbia University.
