Milos Simic

Milos Simic became a Neubauer Family Assistant Professor in the Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering in 2025. 

Simic is a synthetic immunologist who is developing cell-based delivery platforms for brain diseases. He aims to address limitations for central nervous system disorders. His research is in engineering T cells to deliver therapeutic payloads to specific tissues, like the central nervous system.

Simic received two master’s degrees from the Universite Pierre et Marie Curie, the first in Management and the second in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the Ecole Normale Superieure within the university. His PhD in Biology is from the University Pierre et Marie Curie. Most recently, he completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California, San Franscico.
