Heather Sarsons

Heather Sarsons was named a Neubauer Family Assistant Professor in 2019. Sarsons is an economist with research interests in labor, personnel, and behavioral economics. Her work focuses on identifying and measuring norms, beliefs, and biases to understand how they influence labor market outcomes and inequality. Prior to joining Booth, Sarsons was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Toronto's GATE Institute and Economics Department. She received a PhD in economics from Harvard, and a BA in economics from the University of British Columbia.
